Directed by Ann Hui, the movie is based on a true story. Ah Tao works as a maid for Roger’s family for four generations. After they emigrated, she stays only to work for Roger, but is forced to retire and move into an elderly home after she suffered a stroke. Since then, Roger becomes her caregiver as Ah Tao starts adapting to a new life.
