Their fight started some three hundred years ago when royal guard Fong (Yuen Biao) is ordered to pursue his senior, Sam (Yuen Wah), who is a serial killer and rapist with powerful martial arts skills. The two of them duel it out, but somehow get frozen in ice. A few centuries later, they get unearthed and defrosted in a world completely strange to them. Fortunately for Fong, he is befriended by a femme fatale called Polly (Maggie Cheung) who helps him adapt to his new life.
