    Chapman To (Diva, Vulgaria) turns into a talent manager again in The Midas Touch along with idol Charlene Choi (My Sassy Hubby) and the movie's eight young, quirky models. Written and directed by Shaolin Soccer co-writer Fung Chih Chiang, The Midas Touch explores the sacrifices an artist manager and wannabe-stars have to make to rise to the top. Also appearing in the movie are Go Yun Xiang, Gillian Chung, Nicholas Tse and real-life golden manager Mani Fong. Suen (Charlene Choi) was once a well-known artist manager but her career is going down after her scandalous habit of peeping at stars has been exposed. Betrayed by an action star that she worked for and singled out by the industry, Suen meets Mak (Chapman To), a debt collector who recently took over his debtor's artist agency. With high hopes to make a good fortune out of the agency, Mak finds the grand plan nowhere in sight with the company's eight subpar artists - but things start to turn around with Suen's help.

Even worse, she finds out that Chuen is in a happy relationship and going to engage her best friend. Overwhelmed by shocking and heartbreaking truths during the tour, Yau suddenly realizes that the key to break the curse is to start a fresh new relationship with Hall.
