The film follows the love story of a university student, An Ran (Ma Si  Chun) and a Taiwanese man, Qi Xiao (Wallace Huo). They met and fell in  love with each other in Beijing in 1991, at a concert by Chyi Chin, a  Taiwanese singer.  However, courage alone may not be enough for the  lovers to stay together, and goodbyes may truly mean the end. Will An  Ran and Qi Xiao meet again in 2019?
